Rachel E. Scott was born in Seattle, Washington. She received her B.A. from the University of Washington in 1998 and her J.D. from the University of Montana, School of Law in 2001. While at the University of Montana, she was a member of the national moot court team and was treasurer and the magister of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. In 2002, she earned an LL.M. in Public International Law at the University of Helsinki, Faculty of Law in Finland. She is a third-generation lawyer in her family, following in her father and grandfather’s footsteps. Her father, Brian D. Scott, is her law partner at Scott & Scott PLLC.

Rachel is a proud graduate of the Trial Lawyers College. She is focused on understanding the trauma of her clients in an effort to best represent them against insurance companies and the Department of Labor & Industries. No case nor client is alike and Rachel prides herself in making sure she understands how an injury truly affects their lives.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her two children, traveling, and seeing copious amounts of live music. She is a supporter of the local arts community and serves on the Board of Abbey Arts and is a long time donor and member of KEXP.
